About Wellness

Wellness means more than physical health. It includes cultivation of a sense of wellbeing, experiencing emotional balance, approaching life with a compassionate dispositon, as well as physical wellbeing and fitness.

Spiritgrow identifies the three distinctive human functions that promote wellness: right thinking, right eating and right moving. Spiritgrow therefore offers courses, downloads/CDs, workshops on all three. These often feature the world's leading exponents such as Dr Ian Gawler of the Gawler Foundation, Professor Marc Cohen of Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), and our own Rabbi Laibl Wolf who is considered a pioneer in the field of mind training.

A special feature of the Spiritgrow facility is a specialist cuisine space dedicated to the science of food, food as healing, and the spiritual insights of Kashrut. Another unique feature is the Sandra Bardas Meditation Center with its courses in meditation practices for health and wellness. The Spiritgrow emphasis on creation of support groups is a fast evolving set of programs that include eating disorders, youth self-image, and weight management.
